Over the past few months I’ve seen the show with the ex-football player revamping guys basements/garages/etc into big colorful playrooms from their childhood visions. I’ve heard it be called Man Cave and Manspace (in which there’s actually a book). I’ve always thought these were simply called a ’study’. However, men have taken it to the [...]

This is a nice video I ran upon that displays Mr. Browne, but it looks as if they mixed Tom Ford’s name in their once in the beginning and also in the description calling him Thom Ford…who knows? Besides that misstep, It looks like the collection shown is the Black Fleece season for Brooks Brothers.

I’ve always liked the history of Levi’s, a working class jean for the working class man. Which is why this new endeavor into vintage from Levi’s is pretty cool, except for the fact that it costs over $800 in American currency based on the price that Hanon shop is giving. The bag is actually the [...]

I figured the best time to spotlight Anthony Bourdain in Paris would be after featuring Jean-Pierre Melville. He took otherwise normal storylines and turned them into fascinating mysteries with plot twists, American style entwined, and cinematography secrets far before it’s time. Some of the best French New Wave films of this past century are in his credit. Le Samourai, Le Cercle Rouge, Bob [...]

While most Americans fuel their Memorial Day with a bare essitentials such as High Life and Brats, go and thank a vet instead…then follow through with gorging yourself. Thanks to The Boat Lullabies for the brilliant picture.

Over at Vice about 2 years ago, I read the Gangs issue and it had a couple of very good articles ranging from the nearly correct football hooligan fashion to my personal favorite, the Cambridge University Clubs. The interviews and pictures are brilliant. Makes you wish you had a daddy with expendable income, eh?

There Will Be Blood, the masterpiece by Paul Thomas Anderson, with it’s incredible cinematography and style, including Daniel Day-Lewis in one of his most captivating roles in his career, is one of the greatest movies of the past years of film-making. Set in California during the early 20th century rush for oil, Anderson achieves the [...]
