Last night I finally got the chance to see the new Woody Allen film, Vicky Christina Barcelona, which I’ve been salivating over for quite some time. Just as I imagined, it was all that I hoped for and more. It has the Woody Allen staple of a love drama with a dark comedy entwined. Besides the all star cast, the cinematography and Spanish backgrounds for each shot were just the ingredient to make the movie memorable. While I love the bleek backdrops of his earlier works in New York, and more recently in London; his new venture to the Spanish countryside shows major versatility. Make sure you get the chance to see this in a theatre, there’s nothing better than the anticipation of the patented Windsor Elongated opening scenes that Mr. Allen’s so famous for.

Wow! I can’t wait to see this film! Thanks for the rave!
