Country’s Best Times

Seeing as how I’m from Nashville…I’ve seen what Country music and it’s culture has become. Unfortunately, I wasn’t around for the glorious days of whiskey flowing non-stop and traditional country heard on every corner. Thanks to Kempt, I got to see some great photos from a new book called Pure Country displaying 125 photos from some of the best years of Country. By the way, if you’re ever in Nashville…Tootsie’s and Robert’s are hands down the best Honky Tonks.

  1. Those cars are amazing. Serious chrome. No way could two young women sit on the back of a Honda or most other cars today. The creative parking makes me imagine this photo was taken outside a roadhouse joint.
