Mario Hugo for Beck

Beck came out with Modern Guilt in 2008, a record that is right up there along side Sea Change for his best work to date. Mario Hugo is a minimalist designer, whom I actually didn’t know a whole lot about until I saw his work for Modern Guilt. In the end, it didn’t end up making the cut for the cover art. Which is a shame, because it’s some of the best I have seen as far as contemporary, minimalist art goes. Most of which I’m not that into, but what he did for Beck is some my favorite. Check out his site for the rest of the Beck designs, as well as the rest of his portfolio. Thanks very much to Kitsune Noir for featuring it.
