Seeing the style run down at A Time To Get has me thinking along the same lines about how you would define style as a whole, and even more so specifically of your own. I think he did a extraordinary job describing and displaying a conglomeration of many looks that is sometimes hard to narrow down. When I think of California, I think of the photographs he put together. Which also makes Spring/Summer style must haves that you see in most menswear magazines look like they threw it together last minute. Puts them to absolute shame.
Out of all the looks he displayed, the one above consisting of Brixton cap, Persol’s, J.Crew trousers, RL Wing-Tips, Military Vietnam era watch, Vintage Swedish Military bag, and a Minor Threat t-shirt makes for a casual yet refined look…Sprezzatura anyone? All the browns and greens go together perfectly. Only thing you would need to top it off would be a youth-crew fade.
