The Dead Weather

Jack White is always up to new things, and it’s been very apparent since moving many of his operations to Nashville where with the acclaimed Raconteurs and projects with many classic country names. Lately, his new venture, The Dead Weather, comprised of members from Raconteurs, The Kills, and Queens Of The Stone Age, is some of the best new original music out. I was never a huge fan of White’s projects, with only some of it to my liking.

However, The Dead Weather is much more guitar driven, which with Dean Fertita offering some of his best that is well known if you have ever heard a song by Queens Of The Stone Age. Recently, the band played their first show in Nashville by surprise at Third Man record store’s re-opening to a crowd of a very lucky 150 or so. Many are hoping they continue with the good charm and churn out some more tunes.
