If you’ve been reading D&D the past week, you’ll see a lot of Levi’s love. I won’t act like they don’t hold a special place in my heart, because it’s obvious that they’re probably my favorite jean. I wear a lot of different brands, but I always come back to Levi’s for good measure, comfortability, and longevity. The newer strides to take classics in their Vintage Collection through LVC to newer heights just adds to the relationship between the world and their denim.
Featured here are the Levi’s collaboration with the Cone Mills factory. Cone Mills began supplying Levi’s in 1915 that lasted through the rest of the century. They’re a lightweight 11 oz denim, which is actually a nice departure for a change from the 14 oz selvedge brethren. This pair is a very special celebration of the partnership that many, knowing or not, put craftsmanship and history on the asses of Americans everywhere.
