Germano Facetti for Penguin Books

While looking through the $2 books on the sidewalk of a hole in the wall book store I noticed an incredible cover, and what do you know? It’s Germano Facetti cover for Penguin Books from the 60’s next to an Alan Fletcher designed cover from the same era. Heaven!

Penguin Books has been one of the biggest and best publishers for classic and modern day authors. The 60’s had a massive overhaul of wildly mindbending cover art. Recently, Penguin rereleased quite a bit of the library in new designs and old alike.  Check out Guardian for a great range of Facetti’s work.

It’s official: you’re the oldest twentysomething on the planet. Playing. Great post, Brandon. Tell me more about Facetti’s work!

Haha, it’s not easy already going through a midlife crisis at 24. A cool fact about Facetti is that he used to put up anti-fascist posters during ww2 before he seemingly found Penguin and LSD….
